Mikko Pietilä

Executive Creative Director

Mikko Pietilä is the Executive Creative Director at TBWA\Helsinki. Mikko is responsible for the development of creative work, design and in-house innovations.

Mikko has been a part of TBWA’s team since 2014. Throughout his career he has been working in digitally strong agencies , both in Finland and abroad. Mikko has participated in building some of the world’s most remarkable brands, from “Finnish Nokias” to Google and Red Bull. The best part of groundbreaking work is to make the customers realize that their own boundaries can and should be pushed to enable better growth.

To Mikko, the most important factor in influential brand work are the people he has had the privilege to work with. During the past years, great teamwork has resulted in memorable cases in, for example, the Nissan and Finavia projects. The best things at TBWA are the collective culture of creativity, good atmosphere and proactivity. Every pirate is proud of the whole gang, and the accomplishments achieved together.

As a leader, Mikko is inspired by his co-workers and their high level of ambition. In the future, Mikko’s aim is to help develop TBWA into an even stronger marketing agency, that will be globally known for its remarkable work.
